Stephen is a hands-on turnaround professional. He joined the DTE Group in January 2002 to head their turnaround business, Corporate Strategies. He represents financiers and investors and acts for businesses experiencing a range of financial, operating and management difficulties.

He is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience advising SMEs across the full range of corporate restructuring and rescue financing issues. As an Insolvency Practitioner, he held senior positions at Binder Hamlyn and Levy Gee but rarely accepts formal appointments these days focusing his energies on turnaround.

A 12 month secondment to NatWest's credit and business support function provided valuable insights into the operation of clearing banks which provides considerable advantage to his clients.

Stephen is a long-suffering Preston North End fan who seeks solace on the golf course during the summer. He is married to Josie and they have three children, Kate, Ellen and Thomas.
