Mike qualified as an accountant in 1999 with Moores Rowland and Hacker Young and joined DTE in 2001 from Mazars.

Mike has more than 10 years auditing and accounting experience for a wide variety of businesses ranging from owner-managed to quoted international corporations.

Mike initially joined the DTE Corporate Finance team before moving over to DTE Leonard Curtis, where he was a corporate recovery manager. In August 2003 he was a part of the team which set up Corporate Strategies in response to a need from the SME sector for a business turnaround specialist and was promoted to Director in 2004.

Mike harbours a secret ambition to be a professional poker player and lives in Stockport with his wife Rebecca and young children Natasha and Nathan.
